University of Kansas (KU) Law Professor Stephen Ware began teaching Bankruptcy in 1998.  He has taught courses surveying both business and personal bankruptcy, as well as courses focused on personal (consumer) bankruptcy and related debtor-creditor law.

KU Law’s Course Description for Law 889, Bankruptcy, is: This survey of bankruptcy and debtor-creditor law covers topics such as:  Chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code and enforcement of money judgments outside of bankruptcy.  Prerequisites:  Commercial Law:  Secured Transactions; and Business Organizations.
